Designing for deep, meaningful relationships in a disconnected world.

Co-founding People Plan as design lead

  • Scope: Bringing real life connections back in style
  • My Role: Co-Founder, Design lead & UX design
  • Year: 2024 – ongoing

Project Description
In a world where digital interactions often leave people feeling disconnected, we set out to create a platform that fosters deep, meaningful relationships. Together as co-founders, we envisioned a tool to help users organize and nurture their personal connections without guilt or overwhelm.

My role
As design lead, my main responsibilities has been planning and analysing user research. Creating wireframes, prototypes and design for our dev team with which I’ve been working closely with. The focus has been on crafting a seamless and intuitive experience that supports and helps  people stay connected with their friends and family and build meaningful relationships that lasts.

User interviews
Early in the project we performed around 20 deep penetrating semi-structured interviews with target users. These were made both face to face and through remote meetings. Each interview lasted for roughly 1 hour and was based on a script with some unscripted follow-up questions and discussions for deeper insights.

Prototyping and testing
During the development of our MVP we performed usability tests to evaluate and some of our design and decisions. And we used the feedback and insights gathered from this to iterate and improve.

Impact
We are still in an early stage of this journey but we have already received traction from investors and future partners.  At the moment we’re in the middle of development of the first version of the MVP with an estimated launch in Q3-Q4 of 2025.
